Photos from Wellesley Concert

The Afro-Semitic Experience visited Wellesley College on Wednesday, December 5 for a concert in the school's Art and Soul series. The group played new pieces including "The Creator has a Master Plan," Shout 'Em, Aunt Tillie," "Wise One", and "Soul Station." Abu Alvin Carter had everyone mesmerized with his opening blessing and the band just rocked the room from beginning to end. Jennifer Dennis, from Wellesley sent the band some photos from the event. In this first photo you can see
Abu making his invocation from the stage.

Here's a great photo of Will jamming on his clarinet.

And here's a great shot of Stacy, Saskia, and Will jamming together. Don't you wonder what tune they are playing? Maybe it's "Shout Out from the Mountain"? If only photos could have sound.

And here's a great shot of Warren in motion on the piano!!

And David on the bass:

It was a terrific evening. Everyone was getting up and dancing all through the concert and we all had a great time musically and spiritually.
Thanks to Patti and Jennifer at Wellesley for putting together this evening of spirit and grooves!!
